Zylinderselektive Einspritzung beim 5-Zylinder möglich?

Hallo,

was ich noch nicht ganz durchschaue, es gibt ja auch noch eine "Secondary Injector Timing Table" sofern man staged injection verwenden will (also 2 Einspritzdüsen pro Zylinder):

Aber geht die "staged injection" dann auch Voll-Sequentiell, weil eine "Secondary Injector Timing Table" ist ja vorhanden? (Da "nur" 8 Düsentreiber bei MS3X zur Verfügung stehen geht - sofern es überhaupt möglich ist - das dann wohl nur bis maximal 4-Zylinder).

ach, ich glaube die Frage hat sich jetzt von selbst geklärt:

In MS3X Sequential mode, the same output guidelines apply as in MS3X non-sequential mode except that in the case that the secondaries can be connected to the MS3X outputs, they run fully sequential, and if they are connected to the V3 board, they run semi-sequential.

Secondary Outputs - This setting controls whether the MS3X outputs are used for secondaries or the V3 board outputs are used. This option is only available with 4 or less cylinders. The following options are possible:

Use MS3x (if possible) - Use the MS3x board outputs if it is possible to do so.
Use V3 - Use the V3 board outputs.

Also staged injection geht dann wohl schon vollsequentiell, allerdings nur bis 4 Zylinder (wohl wg. den 8 Düsentreiber).

Ich hab es jetzt irgendwie trotzdem noch nicht ganz durchblickt...

Es geht vollsequentiell beim 10- und 12-Zylinder unter Ausnutzung der zusätzlichen Pins an der MS3X, siehe http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms3/v10_v12.html.

Soweit ich das jetzt verstanden habe geht staged-injection nur bis 4 Zylinder vollsequentiell (also 8 Einspritzventile).
Aber wäre staged-injection nicht auch beim 5-Zylinder vollsequentiell möglich (somit 10 Einspritzventile) wenn man die übrigen Pins der MS3X verwendet? Oder ist dies softwaretechnisch nur bis 4-Zylinder möglich?
Weil wenn hardwaretechnisch ein Betrieb eines 10 Zylindermotors vollsequentiell möglich ist (10 Einspritzventile), dann müsste doch auch staged-injection beim 5-Zylinder vollsequentiell möglich sein (5+5=10 Einspritzventile)?
Zumal der Rechenaufwand beim 10-Zylinder vollsequentiellbetrieb doch viel höher ist weil ja noch hinzukommt das die Zündreihenfolge eines 10-Zylinders beachtet werden muss...
